Where We Are

Lee Graves Salon is at 6101 Chapel Hill Blvd, Suite 103, Plano, TX 75093, on Chapel Hill Blvd in West Plano near the intersection with Preston Road. Look for our sign on the building; we are in Suite 103.

This puts us just north of the Addison line, on the Preston Road and Dallas North Tollway corridor that most of North Dallas already uses to get anywhere north.

Routes From Dallas Neighborhoods

Outside of peak traffic, most of North Dallas reaches us in 25 to 35 minutes. Preston Road is the simplest option if you dislike toll roads and do not mind the lights; the Tollway is faster and much less variable if you are coming from further south.

Distances are approximate and depend on where in each area you start. The map on any of our service area pages will give you live directions from your exact address.

Parking

Free parking is available directly in front of the building in our shared surface lot, and there is plenty of space. No garage, no ticket, no circling. Park, walk in, and you are at the door.

This is worth flagging because it is a genuine difference from an extension appointment in Uptown or downtown. When you are sitting for a three-hour hand-tied install, not paying for and worrying about a garage is not nothing.

How Long to Block Out

Extension appointments are long. Plan the trip around the real numbers rather than the optimistic ones:

Add your drive each way, and arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. If you are coming from downtown or Uptown for a hand-tied install, treat it as a half-day rather than a lunch break.

How the First Few Months Look From Dallas

This is the part worth understanding before you start, because it is a travel commitment as much as a hair one.

Trip one — consultation. About 30 minutes. We assess your hair, color match, recommend a method and give you a written quote. Free, and no obligation.

Trip two — installation, 1 to 2 weeks later. Your hair is custom-ordered and color-matched after the consultation, which is why the two cannot happen on the same day. Allow 2 to 3 hours for hand-tied, 60 to 90 minutes for tape-in.

Then every 6 to 8 weeks — maintenance. A move-up for hand-tied rows or a re-tape for tape-ins. Keratin bonds stretch to every 3 to 4 months, which is genuinely worth considering if the drive is the sticking point for you.

Roughly speaking, that is eight or nine trips in the first year for hand-tied or tape-in, and three or four for keratin bond.

Making One Trip Do More

If you are driving 20 miles, it is worth stacking the appointment:

• Pair your move-up with your color. Your roots grow at the same rate the row travels, so most clients need a root touch-up or gloss on a similar cycle anyway. Hair color and highlights can be booked into the same visit — just say so when you book, so enough time is reserved.
• Add a treatment. A bonding or conditioning treatment while you are already in the chair costs you no extra trip.
• Book the next one before you leave. Saturdays fill first, and a late move-up is the one thing that genuinely risks your hair.
• Go mid-morning midweek if your schedule allows. It avoids both Tollway peaks and it is when we have the most availability.

If extensions are part of your wedding-day look, start the conversation early. You want the hair installed with enough runway to have one move-up and a trial before the day, not installed the week of it. For a Dallas wedding that usually means a consultation three to four months out.
