What Actually Makes This Different
A guaranteed paycheck while you build. The hardest part of changing salons is the gap — the weeks between walking in the door and having a full column. New stylists here receive a guaranteed paycheck during that stretch, and the salon advertises and brings in new clients for stylists who are building. You are not starting from an empty book and an empty bank account.
No booth rental. You are not renting a chair from us and you are not writing us a check on a slow week. Our bridal team works on contract; everyone else is not booth rental. Pay is weekly.
A ladder with actual rungs. Apprentice, Hybrid Level 1 Stylist, Level 2 Stylist, Level 3 Senior Stylist, Level 4 Senior Lead Stylist, Level 5 Master Stylist — six named levels, plus six cross-team tracks you can move into alongside the chair: bridal travel, bridal coordinating, party and social planning, social media and marketing, onboarding and mentoring, and Aveda educator. 401(k) and Aflac supplemental insurance. Retirement savings and supplemental coverage are rare in this industry. We offer both. Aflac is supplemental insurance, not health insurance — we'd rather be precise about that than oversell it.
Support so you can stay behind the chair. Full-time concierge staff at the front of the salon and support staff in the back. The salon supplies all color. Continuing education is paid for by the salon and led in-house by our Education Director, Dawn, a Schwarzkopf instructor for 15 years with 30+ years in the industry. We work with Aveda, Schwarzkopf, and Iles Formula.
We protect our stylists. If a client is aggressive or rude to you, we deal with it. You will not be asked to smile through it to protect a booking. That policy is the reason a lot of our team has stayed.

If a client is aggressive or rude to you, we handle it. Our stylists are not expected to absorb abuse to keep a booking on the schedule.

Executive Assistant
Full-TimeRight hand to the salon owner. Manage the owner's calendar and communications, coordinate with vendors and product reps, help with events and day-to-day operations, and keep the business side of a busy salon running smoothly. Discretion, follow-through, and organization are everything in this role.
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of administrative, executive assistant, or office management experience
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication
- ✓Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — comfortable juggling calendars, vendors, and deadlines
- ✓Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools

Experienced Hair Stylist
Full-Time or Part-TimeLicensed stylists with 2+ years of salon experience who are passionate about creating beautiful hair. Color experience preferred but not required. Must have a Texas cosmetology license.

Bridal Stylist or Makeup Artist
Part-Time or ContractKeep your chair and add Saturdays. Something Blue by Lee Graves, our award-winning bridal division, is adding hair stylists and makeup artists on contract rather than as salon employees — so you do not have to leave the salon you are in now. The work is wedding-day hair and/or makeup for brides and bridal parties, on location across the DFW area. Makeup-only artists are welcome and do not need a cosmetology license; MUA certification is accepted. A dedicated Wedding Coordinator handles inquiries, trials, and wedding-day timelines. Saturday availability required.
Requirements
- ✓Active Texas cosmetology or esthetician license (MUA certification accepted for makeup-only artists)
- ✓Portfolio of bridal hair and/or makeup work
- ✓Saturday availability for wedding days

Lash Technician

Nail Technician
