Purple shampoo is the most misunderstood product in the blonde toolkit. It works by depositing cool violet pigment that cancels out the yellow and brass that lightened hair naturally develops. Used correctly, it keeps your tone crisp between toner appointments.

- Use it once or twice a week, not every wash. It's a supplement, not your everyday shampoo.
- Leave it on for a few minutes to let the pigment work, then rinse well.
- Alternate with a gentle, color-safe shampoo the rest of the week.
