We believe in transparent pricing, so here are the actual starting rates from our service menu. All prices are starting rates — the figures below reflect our Level 1 stylists, and each service is offered across our five stylist levels (1-5). Longer, thicker, or previously colored hair may cost more, and we always confirm your price before we begin.

What the 5-Level System Means

Every price above is a Level 1 starting rate. Our stylists are grouped into five levels based on experience, training, and client demand — Level 1 through Level 5. As an example, full highlights run from $220 at Level 1 up to $260 at Level 5, and full balayage from $250 to $290. Every level delivers beautiful, professional results; the system simply lets you choose a colorist based on your budget and preferences. When you book, you'll know your stylist's level and rate up front.

What Actually Affects Your Price

Two clients can book the same service and pay different amounts — here's why:

• Hair length and density. Longer, thicker hair needs more lightener and more time. Our balayage and highlight rates include a set amount of product; unusually long or dense hair may need more, which can add to the total.
• How far you're going. Lifting dark or previously colored hair to a bright blonde may require more than one session. A single visit has a single price; a multi-session blonding transformation is quoted across those sessions.
• Your starting canvas. Previous box dye, henna, or built-up color can require extra work to lift evenly and safely.
• Add-ons. Extra toner beyond the included amount, bond treatments, or a haircut and style added to your color all affect the total.
• Your stylist's level. As above, Level 1-5 sets the base rate.

Because of all this, the honest answer to "what will my highlights cost?" is best given at a consultation, where your colorist can see your hair and your goal photos. You'll leave knowing the plan and the price.

Are Highlights Worth It vs. All-Over Color?

Highlights almost always cost more than a single-process, all-over color — and that's because they're more labor-intensive. Each section is individually foiled or hand-painted and then toned, versus applying one color across the whole head. What you get for the difference is dimension, brightness, and a much softer grow-out, which is why highlights remain the most-requested color service. If you love brightness but want to spend less, a few strategies help:

• Choose a partial over a full — brightness where it shows, for less.
